From October 2010 through March 2011, we had been trying to work out a modification agreement with Chase. Over the course of several months, we complied with all of their demands, providing all the information they required. Finally, we were told that they had everything they needed and we should just sit tight until we heard from them. We called weekly and were repeatedly told that they had everything they needed and would get back to us. March 1, 2011 rolled around and when we called, we were shocked to find out that rather proceeding with a modification agreement, they were going ahead with foreclosure! We called Bella Homes right away and have been working with them since.
